The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) has invited two Schneider Electric representatives to an evening reception at St James' Palace in London.
As a gesture of appreciation for Schneider Electric's commitment to charity fundraising, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) invited two Schneider Electric representatives to an evening reception at St James' Palace in London attended by Her Majesty The Queen and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Having successfully reached their target of raising GBP 250m for the Full Stop campaign last year, the NSPCC arranged the evening reception to thank all the companies and individuals who helped them achieve their goal.
Schneider Electric has raised over GBP 80,000 for the NSPCC in recent years.
Andy Wood and Sam Waters from the Sustainable Development team within Schneider Electric, were elected to attend the reception where the Royal cortege spoke with the fundraisers and thanked them for their efforts.
Steve Coop, Managing Director of Schneider Electric UK, said "Our employees are proud of what they have helped the NSPCC to achieve".
"I hope we can build upon this success to make future fundraising drives just as successful".
"The huge fundraising efforts of employees is appropriate for a company whose slogan is 'giving the best of the New Electric World to everyone, everywhere, at any time' and we are delighted to have raised such a large amount of money for such a deserving cause".
