On-site training offered for switchgear
Schneider Electric is is backing its Nu-Lec range of pole-mounted switchgear with the option of in-depth on-site training.
Nu-Lec pole-mounted auto-reclosing circuit breakers and load switches are an integral part of the comprehensive range of medium-voltage switchgear offered by Schneider Electric Recognising the time pressures that invariably affect users in the electrical distribution sector, the company is backing its range of pole mounted switchgear with the option of in-depth on-site training

Servomotor system suits a range of machinery
The Lexium motion controller is sufficiently powerful to require no other PLCs for many applications.
Auto-reclosing circuit breakers in the Nu-Lec range, which has already been widely tested and proven globally, use vacuum interrupters and are available in epoxy-insulated versions, which eliminate the need for oil and gas insulants, and in SF6-insulated versions which feature sealed-for-life stainless steel tanks to provide a long, low-maintenance service life.
Nu-Lec load break switches are gas-insulated devices optimised for remote control and automation schemes.
They use a puffer interruption system insulated by SF6 and are equipped, as standard, with automatic sectionalising logic which aids fault isolation.

"We recognise that high-quality training and technical support are essential, not only for our customers to get the best out of these sophisticated products, but also to help them work safely in the unforgiving medium-voltage environment", said Nick Thompson of Schneider Electric.
"We also realise that few customers can spare the time to come to our premises for training, so we've decided to take the training to them".
To provide effective on-site training, Schneider Electric has equipped a commodious trailer with the full range of Nu-Lec products.
The trailer can be taken to customer premises anywhere in the UK.
This arrangement allows trainees to gain practical hands-on experience with the products, as well as providing them with the opportunity of discussing their specific application requirements with Schneider Electric's experts.
One of the first organisations to take advantage of Schneider Electric's on-site training for Nu-Lec products is Europe's largest energy supplier, EDF Energy.
The training vehicle is visiting sites in the EDF Energy East Anglia region, where hands-on training will be provided for a range of employees, from line operatives to control room staff.
Schneider Electric's Nu-Lec training vehicle is also available for use in introducing the product range to potential new users, and for demonstrating the benefits that the Nu-Lec equipment can offer.
