Translator speaks latest Catia dialect

A Theorem Solutions product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jun 7, 2004

Theorem's close partnership with Spatial Technologies has allowed the rapid upgrading of its CADverter data exchange translators to support Catia V5 R13.

Theorem's close partnership with Spatial Technologies and its commitment to the Dassault Systemes development environment underpins the rapid upgrading of its CADverter data exchange translators to support Catia V5 R13.

Theorem's new Catia V5 CADverter not only enables users to translate CATParts and CATProducts created using the latest Catia V5 R13 release, but also data from all earlier Catia V5 releases.

The immediate availability of this translator mirrors the deployment of Catia V5 R13 and means that users of Theorem's Catia V5 CADverter can plan upgrades to their PLM environments safe in the knowledge that their translation processes will automatically align themselves to their changing requirements.

Theorem's ability to keep pace with Dassault Systemes release cycle for V5 is particularly important where CAD data exchange provides a critical communications link between customers and suppliers.

As a result, Theorem's new Catia V5 translator enables the latest versions of Catia V5 to be deployed anywhere in the supply chain, at any time, without disrupting the vital flow of information between users.

In common with all Theorem product upgrades, CADverter for Catia V5 R13 will be made available automatically to all users operating their translator under a current maintenance contract.
