Theorem Solutions has signed a reseller agreement with EKES, a specialist supplier and installer of SC03 integrated stress, displacement, thermal and vibration analysis software The appointment closely follows the company's sale of Step AP203 data translation interfaces to Chinese aerospace giant, AVIC for use with this advanced Rolls-Royce developed application

EKES (East Kilbride Engineering Services) was established in 1996 by a team of highly skilled, former Rolls-Royce aero engineers.

It uses specialist knowledge gained from the company's aerospace origins to develop innovative solutions used in increasingly demanding engineering environments.

Since its formation, EKES has built an international reputation for providing optimised solutions geared to customers' specific requirements.

The company's in-house skills and expertise have also been endorsed through its appointment by Rolls-Royce as an SC03 reseller in November 2003.

Under the latest agreement, EKES will become a Theorem Reference Reseller, introducing Theorem to customers who need to input data into SC03 from a variety CAD systems.

By applying its expertise to the CAD data exchange aspect of the installation, Theorem will ensure that customers receive world leading technical advice not just on their analysis requirements, but their CAD interoperability needs as well.

Andrew Steedman, Technical Director of EKES said: "We are pleased to be working with Theorem in this way".

"Our collaboration brings significant benefits to our customers".

"We also believe that it will prove mutually beneficial to both Theorem and ourselves".

Theorem's General Manager, Keith Jeacock is equally optimistic.

Commenting on the new business relationship with EKES, he said: "Reference reselling is an easy and effective way of managing specialist niche opportunities like this".

"We are delighted to have the opportunity to build even closer business relations with EKES in the future".

"There are many ways in which our agreement enables us to help each other achieve our respective goals".
