Software eases data management
CADverters for IsoDraw provide a highly cost-effective and easy to use method of dealing with Catia and UG NX data.
Translators boost operating speed
Theorem's new series of CADverters will typically translate data to and from PTC's Pro/E format three times faster than before.
Using separate processes, the new CADverter translates Inventor 9 geometry into JT and drawings into DWF format, both of which can be viewed by VisMockup.
Accordingly, all types of Inventor 9 2D and 3D product data can - for the first time - become part of a common dataset managed and distributed throughout the whole enterprise.
"Many important players within the manufacturing sector, including Ford, General Motors, Daimler Chrysler, Visteon and Caterpillar, have adopted JT as their preferred format for the visualisation and distribution of product data throughout their organisations and extended supply chains", says Theorem Solutions' General Manager, Keith Jeacock.
"The latest Inventor 9 to VisMockup JT CADverter underlines our ability to fulfil the requirements of companies who regard the visualisation of designs - whether parts or drawings - as a key element in any PLM installation".
"Furthermore, our status as a JT Open 'vendor member' reflects our commitment to the robust functionality and lightweight nature of JT technology, which makes it possible to share product data and interactive images worldwide, in real time, throughout all phases of the product lifecycle".
