Software eases data management
CADverters for IsoDraw provide a highly cost-effective and easy to use method of dealing with Catia and UG NX data.
Translators boost operating speed
Theorem's new series of CADverters will typically translate data to and from PTC's Pro/E format three times faster than before.
These include the translation of colours, layers, groups, 3D annotation and validation properties, which are now incorporated in the new Step AP203 Edition 2 standard.
Step AP203 Edition 2 also harmonises the AP203 standard with AP214, especially with regard to meta data changes, which now conform to the PDM Schema format.
Beyond this, Edition 2 defines protocols for construction history and geometric and dimensional tolerancing, providing the foundation for additional future capabilities.
Theorem's Step development is undertaken against the background of its membership of the CAx Implementers Forum - through which the interoperability of different vendors' Step products is tested and verified.
As a result, users can be confident in the ongoing effectiveness of Theorem Step based translators within their production environments.
