Lord Corporation has appointed TEVA to distribute and support its range of balancing products throughout the UK and Ireland.

Lord Corp is well known for designing, manufacturing and marketing devices and systems to manage mechanical motion and control noise and vibration, and develops products and systems using magnetically responsive technologies.

The latest, most innovative product to date is the Electromagnetic Real Time Balancer.

This product once installed will trim balance any rotating machinery while in operation, eliminating the need for costly shutdowns.

Machine balance is often overlooked as cause of unwanted vibration and noise.

Many industries suffer with product build-up on fan impellers due to the nature of the manufacturing process.

"Balancing is an ever growing part of our business and we see this as a major step forward for our long term strategy", said Tony Eva, Managing Director at TEVA.

Andy Winzenz, Global Product Manager for Lord Corp, explained: "The payback on this technology is typically the first time an active balance correction is made".

"The product is very efficient and a typical balance cycle takes no longer than 60 seconds".
