Tomoe Valve dominates the sugar industry, supplying many of the world's leading producers who each have an annual production of more than 1 million tonnes of beet sugar.
Tomoe valves and actuator packages are used throughout the sugar refining process, improving process efficiency and productivity in both utility and process applications from sampling, cleaning and slicing through to diffusion, purification, evaporation and finally crystallisation.
Made from cast iron to duplex steel Tomoe's 300, 700 and 800 and Triple Offset series of high performance butterfly valves deliver unique levels of low torque and leak tightness, valve longevity and wear resistance - key factors to efficient flow and control on sugar processing lines.
The 700 series valves are highly specified and include food quality seats, stainless steel polished discs and high-grade powder coated one-piece bodies that suit the exacting demands of the sugar industry.
