EMS supplier Texcel Technology has recently completed two design and manufacture projects for automotive supplier Delphi Diesel Systems.
The alarm messages are pre-recorded in local language, enabling the module to be installed on a world wide basis.
Messages are systematically forwarded onto main control or service maintenance centres as part of the overall alarm activation procedures.
Texcel Technology says: "The module is especially useful for operators who have a requirement for remote site monitoring and control on an international basis and where service and maintenance is handled by local contractors." The 1U rack module includes secure hand over mechanism together with a local alarm broadcast message feature.
