TFC has a new range of sheet-metal nuts specially designed to accurately hold and position a wide variety of components prior to final assembly.

Suitable for use with a wide range of materials including metal, plastic, fibreboard and glass, the nuts are versatile and inexpensive and designed for use in industries such as heating and ventilation, white goods manufacturing and in the automotive sector.

Quick and simple to use, they have replaced the traditional nut and bolt in many assembly operations, and the advantages they offer are principally lightness and accuracy of fitting and faster assembly times as well as lower in-place costs.

The nuts are from TFC's new A Raymond range and are all manufactured to exacting standards to meet DIN 7970 specifications, providing designers and production engineers with a choice of products suitable for a diverse range of applications.

The range includes sheet metal nuts with self-locking effects, screw top covering, metric threads, tolerance compensation and many other specialised features.
