Flexibility is key to fastener supply
deal

With millions of components in stock at its headquarters at Heathfield in Sussex, TFC has the capacity to supply large volumes of components at short notice and works closely with customers to develop contingent supply strategies.
Under the agreement with Amphenol, TFC holds a two-month supply of stock in reserve to allow for fluctuations in demand.
As Chris Poland, Supply Chain Manager at Amphenol UK explains, this allows TFC to react seamlessly to sudden market changes.
"We supply a number of large companies, all of whom require different combinations of products in different volumes".
"With so many small batches of components at short notice, it was important to have a trusted and flexible supplier that could efficiently manage a large diversity of products and changes in demand to take some of the logistical burden away from us".
