Fastening specialist TFC has strengthened its relationship with WaterRower by adding plasti rivets to the long list of components it supplies to the rowing machine manufacturer.

TFC provides an assortment of specialist fasteners to WaterRower's UK manufacturing facility for the production of its range of made-to-order rowing machines.

WaterRower's new M1 model, which is constructed mainly of tubular steel, is aimed at the commercial fitness market and uses plasti-rivets supplied by TFC.

The noncorrosive rivets are robust, easy to assemble and both removable and reusable, making them ideal for the wear and tear of the commercial fitness market.

Using the patented WaterFlywheel, WaterRower machines replicate the dynamics of a boat moving through water more accurately than conventional rowing machines, offering the user a smoother ride and more even workout.

"The number of machines we produce can vary month to month and TFC are excellent at responding to the variations in demand that this causes further down the supply chain, making them an obvious source for components for the new M1 model", commented WaterRower Sales and Marketing Manager, Nick Clement.

TFC Sales Director, Barry Tibble, commented: "WaterRower's decision to source plasti-rivets from us reinforces our reputation as a reliable and flexible supplier".
