TransMagic's software addresses the interoperability challenges facing today's designers and dramatically reduces the time to transfer 3D data accurately between CAD/CAM/CAE systems used in a wide range of manufacturing related applications.
Ngrain delivers interactive performance support solutions that expedite installation, maintenance and repairs on complex equipment.
The Ngrain solution enables first-time-right performance, which results in greater operational readiness at lower cost.
The latest release of the Ngrain solution provides military personnel with access to training material wherever they may be stationed.
"The applications possible through the integration of TransMagic and Ngrain are extraordinary", said Todd Reade, President of TransMagic.
"Imagine a maintenance technician at an airbase in Iraq who needs to change the brakes on the landing gear of an aircraft".
"He is able to pull up the models for an entire airplane assembly on a PDA, drill down to a 3D model of the landing gear subassembly, access an animation of the maintenance procedure, and perform the procedure correctly".
TransMagic's partnership with Ngrain offers access to complex 3D designs for the maintenance, training and 3D translation markets in the defence and aerospace industries.

TransMagic's multiformat CAD data exchange software products are compatible with many CAD systems.
TransMagic's extensive geometry repair tools provide a robust "solid to solid" translation of 3D CAD data.
TransMagic supports the major MCAD (mechanical CAD) and neutral file formats including Catia V5, Catia V4, Unigraphics, Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks, Inventor, ACIS, Parasolid, Step, STL, IGES and HSF.
