3D multi-CAD interoperability software expands support to cover the latest versions of Catia V5, Parasolid, Autodesk Inventor and UGS NX5.

The latest release of TransMagic's 3D multi-CAD interoperability software provides support for Catia V5 R17, Parasolid 19, Autodesk Inventor 2008 and UGS NX5 The enhancements and new features in this release are designed to improve efficiency by expanding the reuse of CAD designs in multi-CAD environments

TransMagic R7 SP1 provides access to PMI (product manufacturing information) in Catia V5, Pro/E and UGS files.

The new TransMagic PMI option delivers nongeometric data that facilitates the manufacturing process.

TransMagic PMI makes available information that is commonly attached to 3D models such as GD and T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing).

The new technology presented in this release is helping many engineers tackle the tough job of translating files for vendors and a variety of downstream users.

TransMagic software products dramatically reduce the costs of reusing CAD designs in manufacturing applications.

TransMagic eliminates the unnecessary delays and expenses associated with redrafting designs, outsourcing file translations and sharing design data.

"Our customers routinely save time using TransMagic".

"One customer told me TransMagic saved him hundreds of hours on a single project", says Todd Reade, President of TransMagic.

"We are dedicated to providing easy to use, advanced interoperability tools that empower companies to master the challenges of a multi-CAD world".
