Automatic belt cleaner for any belt width
The Dirt Whacker belt cleaner from Ace Arc provides automatic operation, with permanent self-compensating adjustment against wear, for any belt width
In that time, Thorite motorised drums have earned a strong reputation for quality and reliability.
Manufactured in the UK, they are also offered with a delivery time of approximately 24 hours for standard components, with a guarantee of prompt aftersale service from Thorite's dedicated team.
Thorite's finely engineered range of motorised conveyor drums offers many benefits over conventional motor and belt / chain drives.
Increasing drive efficiency, 95% of available motor power is transferred to the conveyor belt compared with 80 - 80% as with conventional drive drum systems.
The compact design requires minimum space and allows for maximum flexibility in conveyor design.
Easy and quick to install, the drums are simply positioned in two mounting brackets and connected to power.
With highly durable construction, all metal gears are manufactured from high alloy steel, with precision-cut specially hardened helical teeth, designed for frequent stop-starts.
Providing minimal maintenance, an oil change is recommended only every 10,000 hours.
Totally enclosed construction reduces noise levels for quiet operation, while, with no exposed moving parts, there is virtually no risk of injury when in use.
With an intrinsically hygienic design, all drums are sealed to IEC standard IP65 / 66 specification, protecting all components from dust or moisture and can be hosed down using 700 psi water or 100 psi steam.
For even greater hygiene requirements, drums re optionally available with all stainless steel shell, end caps, shafts, terminal box and mounting brackets, and with special finishes and rubber coatings available on request.
Thorite motorised drums can be found at the heart of thousands of belt conveyors throughout the world, with a multitude of applications in food processing, industrial applications and bulk handling.
