An upgraded high-spec range of folded shear beam load cells replaces the successful VC8600 range from Thames Side-Maywood.

An upgraded high-spec range of folded shear beam load cells replaces the successful VC8600 range from Thames Side-Maywood.

The stainless-steel Series 650 load cells for commercial weighing applications are OIML C3 approved, and improve on the VC8600 range both in terms of accuracy and cost effectiveness.

The Series 650 load cell is an "S" beam load cell which comes in standard capacities of 250, 500, 1000, 2000 and 5000kg.

It is manufactured from stainless steel, hermetically sealed to IP68, ensuring excellent long-term stability.

It is more accurate than the VC8600, being approved for commercial weighing to OIML 3000 divisions.

The Series 650 load cell has bidirectional loading capability and can be used in either tension or compression.

Typical applications include tank and vessel weighing, pack filling machines and conveyors.
