New waterproof soft-touch rocker switch

HHV Components has introduced the new Series V32 soft profile, single/double pole water- and dust-proof rocker switches, certified to IP66.

Lichfield-based thermal overload, circuit protection and rocker switch specialists, Hhv Components has introduced the new Series V32 soft profile, single/double pole water- and dust-proof rocker switches, certified to IP66.

Available in on/off, momentary, changeover and illuminated options, plus a range of standard or customised colours, the switches are designed for reliable, rugged outdoor life and feature a stylish, tactile profile.

Ideally suited to PSV and all terrain vehicle, horticultural machinery, contractors' plant, outdoor leisure equipment and marine applications, the V32 Series is resistant to moisture, dust, salt water spray and UV exposure and is built to withstand excessive vibration and shock loads.

The V32's external dimensions are 48.01 x 24.27 mm and the switch is designed to fit into a panel cut out of 20.83 x 36.5 mm.

The switches meet contact rating requirements for 20A/125VAC, 10A/240VAC and 21A/14VDC and have been tested to 50,000 actuations under load.

Contact resistance is 50 MOhm max; insulation resistance is DC 500V 100 MOhm min and dielectric strength is AC 1500V 1 minute.
