Gearbox company acquired
The acquisition of RMB Engineering Services extends the scope of Deritend's business with additional machining, fabrication and engineering capacity.

The new enlarged group is expected to generate new job opportunities for skilled machinists, fabricators, mechanical fitters and maintenance personnel at all levels.
The existing management team will remain in place at RMB, continuing to apply their experience and skills to the business.
Existing RMB customers will now have access to the entire Deritend group resource.
Ian Davis, Deritend Sales Director adds, "It is a well used phrase, but there is a tremendous synergy between the two businesses that will strengthen the Deritend group as a whole; the 24/7 service philosophy will remain, covering electrical and electromechanical equipment with contracted minimum response times and overnight repairs also available".
Deritend employs sophisticated maintenance management software that can be used to list and provide visibility of assets, schedule and plan maintenance procedures and order Deritend services online.
