RMB Engineering has announced that its 'Swift Service' David Brown industrial gearbox repair and supply service is now available 24 hours a day.

RMB keeps a large stock of David Brown modular gearbox components, including the larger Series G and Series J models.

The company also claims a 'build and deliver' time of just three hours within 50 miles of one of its UK workshops.

Accredited Swift Service centres offer the full small-to-medium standard range of bevel/helical gearboxes manufactured by David Brown.

RMB holds a complete range of casing styles and sizes and a large number of reduction ratios, so virtually any combination can quickly be achieved.

Over 600 components must be held in stock at any one time to earn Swift Centre status.

The company stocks the David Brown Series G heavy-duty reducer gearboxes and Series J shaft-mounted worm gear box speed reducers in modular format.

With a 24-hour workshop, RMB can strip, repair and manufacture gearbox parts at any time of day or night, unlike many similarly named services from other companies.

Assemblies and gearboxes weighing up to 18 tonnes can be accommodated.

RMB recently became a part of the Deritend Group.

This means that it is now able to provide on-site support around the country, providing installation and efficiency advice.
