The new caged ball SHS LM Guide, which has become a global standard, achieves exceptionally high speed, low noise, maintenance free operation.
The HCR is designed to allow a high degree of flexibility and operators can produce the exact arrangement required by simply bolting the rails and blocks to the underlying mating structure.
In addition, each block can be controlled independently, unlike rolling bearings or cross roller rings, which provides a further degree of versatility.
The HCR guide incorporates four rows of precision-ground raceways between the LM rail and block, which ensure smooth, circular movement with radius from 100mm to 3000mm.
Each row of balls is arranged at a 45o contact angle with the guide rail so that it has equal load ratings in the radial, reverse radial and lateral directions.
This allows the guide to operate in any orientation without adverse effect on operating efficiency.
The HCR is available in a choice of 20 models to suit a range of loads, lengths and curvatures and can be combined with end, double or side seals for additional protection against dust or contamination.
