THK UK has extended its range of proven SHW LM guides, featuring the next generation of Caged Ball technology, with the launch of three new miniature SHW guides.
Ideal for applications where space is restricted, or where precision automation is required, the new SHW miniature LM guides offer extraordinary levels of versatility and accuracy.
In particular, the guides provide equal load capacity in all four directions and can, consequently, be applied in a range of manufacturing environments.
More importantly, despite their size, the incorporation of the caged ball technology means that the SHW mini guides offer superior performance over competing devices in terms of speed, precision, low noise and long-term, maintenance-free operation.
THK's new SHW miniature LM guides are available in three sizes - 12, 14 and 17mm - each version features an extremely low centre of gravity making them ideal for single rail operation and high-speed manoeuvres.
"The miniature SHW LM guides possess the same characteristics as the larger models in the range", says Bob Love, Technical Manager at THK UK, "but the product has now been reproduced in miniature to bring the benefits to a whole new market".
He continued, "The introduction of the SHW mini guides once again extends the use of THK's Caged Ball technology, which is rapidly becoming the standard for modern automation requirements".
