THK is building on the success of its nationwide Fast Lane initiative to deliver high-quality UK-manufactured ballscrew products in shortened lead times to both OEMs and end users.

To develop the service still further, THK has introduced a range of new options, including a wide variety of end machining choices, support bearings and support nuts.

The Fast Lane service from THK covers a comprehensive range of standard rolled and ground ballscrews and has proved popular with both OEMs and small volume end users looking for a quick turnaround on orders to meet breakdown requirements and manufacturing practices such as just in time (JIT).

By extending the range of options available to the OEM, particularly for low-volume orders, while maintaining a typical delivery time of just 10 days, THK is able to provide an effective ballscrew solution for the majority of applications, quickly and efficiently.

THK ballscrews available under the Fast Lane service include standard rolled ballscrews models BTK, BT BNT and BLK (large lead), designated C7 (+/-0.05/300mm) and C10 (+/-0.2/300mm).

Precision ground ballscrew nuts, models EIK and DK, are also available from stock nuts and ground shafts ready for final assembly to order.

The range is guaranteed C5 accuracy and individual lead check certificates can be supplied if requested at the time of order.

Completing the Fast Lane range of products is a collection of high-quality support bearings, including fixed-side rectangular types (model BK) and fixed-side round types (model FK), with a complimentary range of radial only 'floating' supports BF and FF.
