The agreement with Wyko Industrial Services enables us to broaden our already extensive distribution network, ensuring that customers receive technical and applications support, at a local level, through Wyko's dedicated technical sales team"s.
Wyko is the largest supplier of industrial goods and services and has 160 branches throughout the UK, backed by a multi-million-pound distribution centre in Halesowen in the West Midlands.
The company will hold stock of standard THK products, enabling it to provide immediate quotes, same day or overnight deliveries, depending on time of order.
Additionally it will be providing a callout facility as part of its technical support services.
Wyko's Marketing and Distributor Operations Director, Malcolm Sheryn, underlines the importance of the new agreement.
"Although we already supply linear motion products, the addition of THK technology, especially their Caged Ball guides, means that our technical sales teams will be able offer customers a even greater choice of solutions and options.
We can now tailor more precisely a match for the exact technical and commercial requirements of each application".
The THK products to be initially distributed by Wyko Industrial Services include a variety of linear motion systems with further expansion of the range available in the near future.
