The SRG15 is the latest addition to THK's long-lasting and maintenance-free Super Roller Guide range.

The SRG15 is the latest addition to THK's long-lasting and maintenance free Super Roller Guide range.

The high rigidity caged style roller is compact yet with high capacity, suitable for use in a wide range of industrial applications.

The SRG15 uses low-profile rollers to reduce rolling resistance and also incorporates THK's proven caged technology to ensure that rollers remain evenly spaced even under extreme operating conditions.

This construction effectively suppresses roller skew and guarantees smooth, even movement throughout the operating life of each SRG guide.

A further advantage of the caged roller technology is that it allows the SRG15 guides to function at high speeds and at rapid rates of acceleration and deceleration.

As a result, the guides are much more responsive than traditional roller guides and can be positioned with greater precision.

In addition, friction levels are lower, thereby minimising wear, extending maintenance and, as the individual roller guides are separated in dedicated grease pockets, reducing heat and mechanical noise.

By comparison with competing roller guides, which typically use larger roller elements, the latest SRG15 has far higher levels of radial and lateral stiffness, typically better than 40% higher, and reverse radial stiffness is over 75% greater.

The SRG range is available with static load capabilities from 165 to 599kN, with a choice of either compact or flange type carriages.
