"Top ten" tag for tic
Less than four years after its creation, Birmingham's Technology Innovation Centre has been rated as one of the country's top ten engineering faculties by the Guardian's 2003 University Guide.
Less than four years after its creation by the University of Central England (UCE) Birmingham's Technology Innovation Centre (the tic) has been rated as one of the country's top ten engineering faculties by the Guardian's 2003 University Guide Alongside well established engineering names such as Loughborough, Oxford, Cambridge and near neighbour Warwick, UCE's tic has been rated among the cream of UK universities when it comes to general engineering

The tic moved from the main UCE campus in September 2001 to occupy a major part of Birmingham's new, advanced Millennium Point development.
This building forms the cornerstone of the City's development of its Eastside zone as a learning and culture quarter.
It is an exciting place for the tic's 2400 students to study engineering and technology.
