The TIC has been shortlisted as one of the IQA's top three "Best education centres of the year", 2004.

The announcement precedes the presentation of the prestigious John Baron Trophy to the overall winner at the Institution of Quality Assurance awards on 11th November.

The year-long IQA course at TIC saw students achieve pass rates well above the national average.

This award nomination follows the IQA accolade of "Best Student" given to TIC-student Chris Bethel for 2003.

The 2004 Baron Trophy presentation takes place at London's Globe Theatre.

The awards will be presented by recently appointed BSI Director of Standards, Mike Low.
