A half-day seminar to help West Midlands small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) get involved in the UK's fastest growing marketplace, is to be held at Birmingham's Technology Innovation Centre.
Industrial projects will see them working with Midlands-based small and medium enterprises (SMEs) on specific tasks as part of their course.
These will be arranged by TIC and students will work in close co-operation with its experienced academic and business solutions teams.
TIC's Postgraduate Programme Manager, David Gray, says: "This programme proved hugely popular last year".
"It is a unique opportunity for up to twenty graduates".
"Not only will they rapidly gain valuable knowledge through an intensive 36-week study course, normally costing GBP 3750, they will also secure excellent industrial experience through SME work projects".
The MSc courses offered cover logistics, the management of projects, operations or supply chains, as well as automotive and mechanical engineering.
TIC integrates its academic staff's expertise with its experienced business analyst team which has in- depth understanding of both manufacturing and service industries.
TIC has already helped over 3000 Midlands businesses embrace new skills and advanced technologies over the last six years.
Its work has ranged from help for small screen-based media businesses, to support for large engineering corporations.
TIC's leading role with regional initiatives such as the West Midlands Technology Network, the Environmental Business Opportunities Programme, and its work as the key resource for the West Midlands Manufacturing Advisory Service, have seen its teams help companies with products from aroma-dispensing light-bulbs to high performance cars.
Gray says: "Students able to take advantage of this opportunity will usually find themselves able to pursue senior job roles in the future through the knowledge and experience TIC offers them".
