Thomson Saginaw announces the availability of new AC, DC and miniature Clevis-to-Clevis Performance Pak Actuators (CPPA) The clevis-to-clevis mounting provides engineers with an easy-to-install, highly versatile product that can be used in a wide range of applications

These include: agricultural equipment; lawn and garden equipment; on- and off-highway equipment; material handling systems; office automation; medical and marine devices, and many others.

The product offering consists of two application types, industrial and miniature.

Industrial units have a powder-coated exterior with stainless steel lift tubes for durability and longer life.

They are also available in selective sizes with built-in adjustable limit switches.

They are available in 12VDC, 24VDC, 110VAC and 220VAC; with 100mm, 200mm, 300mm, 450mm and 600mm strokes; and a capacity range of 1.1 kN to 4.5 kN., with speeds ranging from 0.5in/sec.

to 2.0in/sec.

Industrial DC actuators have a ball screw option or an Acme screw option.

Some industrial actuators can be customized to accommodate higher loads and higher speeds.

Miniature units have corrosion-resistant aluminum tubes with zinc alloy housings and built-in end-of-stroke limit switches.

They are available in 12VDC and 14VDC, with 50mm, 100mm, 150mm, 200mm and 250mm strokes, and a capacity range of 110 N and 490 N, with speeds from 15mm/sec to 50mm/sec.

All the new clevis-to-clevis actuators have a 25% duty cycle.

Both industrial and miniature DC actuators have IP ratings.
