The one-of-a-kind Thomson RoundWay linear roller bearings span gaps in LinearRace shafts, eliminating the need for costly joints This makes station changing on robotic welding and gantry assembly machines fast and easy since no costly joints are required

System rails stay bolted in place, while the station with its separate rail section, is removed and replaced.

RoundWay bearings provide precision positioning while carrying loads as high as 70,000 lb per bearing, on shafts that can be out-of-parallel by as much as 3/16 in.

They operate at temperatures up to 600øF, speeds up to 100 ft/s, and travel through the harshest debris-filled environments.
