Any machine required to run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, will benefit from the continuous, reliable performance offered by Danaher Motion's new Micron EverTRUE gearhead.
Applications such as printing, packaging and paper manufacturing are ideally suited to the new gearhead which is designed to last for over 30,000 hours of continuous use - more than three times the life expectancy of other gearheads on the market today.
Other products are only designed for standard intermittent duty cycles, while the Micron EverTRUE handles high duty cycles with no dwells.
Another advantage is that Micron EverTRUE operates at much lower temperatures than industry-standard gear heads, while still having an ultra-precision specification of four arc-minutes of backlash at 95% efficiency.
Maintenance is also a thing of the past with Micron EverTRUE.
The gearhead is grease lubricated for life, it never leaks and so avoids the maintenance and associated downtime of many other gearheads currently being used in continuous applications.
Micron EverTrue also overcomes the installation problems caused by other gearheads.
Danaher Motion has ensured that its latest release is fully compliant with their RediMount mounting system.
This error-free, three-step system is motor specific rather than gearhead specific, ensuring quick and simple installation of any gearhead to any motor within the same frame size.
The Micron EverTRUE now comes in 100, 140 and 180mm frame sizes with ratios from 4:1 to 100:1.
The size 100 is already shipping, and the 140mm and 180mm units will be in full production in June 2004.
