Danaher Motion's engineers have matched servomotors and drives with precision gearheads and linear actuators to provide a complete linear motion system.

Servomotors, drives and linear actuators are manufactured by Danaher Motion with familiar brands such as Kollmorgen, Thomson and Micron These industry leading components are now being offered as an integrated system - a complete, ready-to-use, assembly called a dynamic servo actuator (DSA)

Danaher Motion's engineers have matched servomotors and drives with precision gearheads and linear actuators to provide a complete linear motion system.

This reduces design costs and frees up valuable engineering time.

Engineers can quickly choose from a broad range of validated configurations by using a free product selection software tool.

The DSA is specified with a single part number to simplify pricing and ordering.

The result is a single purchase order and invoice, significantly reducing transactions.

Mechanical interfaces between components are also eliminated.

Because the complete system is integrated when the product is purchased, engineers are not required to select and match components.

The DSA uses best-in-class components coupled with a direct drive, flange, belt gear or planetary gearhead to suit the application.

Kollmorgen AKM servomotors take up half the space and weigh up to 40% less than comparable motors of the same torque.

Robust Thomson linear actuators and Micron gearheads are designed for continuous reliable service, reducing maintenance costs.

Compact Kollmorgen Servostar drives save space and are easily configured over an RS232 connection using PC-based software.

The drives' PID parameters can be tuned automatically, further reducing setup time.

DSAs are available for stroke lengths from 1.5 to 10m and speeds from 0.05 to 3.2m/s.
