New from Thomson Saginaw are ranges of AC, DC and miniature clevis-to-clevis Performance Pak actuators (CPPA) The clevis-to-clevis mounting provides engineers with an easy-to-install, highly versatile product that can be used in a wide range of applications

These include: agricultural equipment; lawn and garden equipment; on- and off-highway equipment; material handling systems; office automation; medical devices; marine devices, and many others.

The product offering consists of two application types: industrial and miniature.

Industrial units have a powder-coated exterior with stainless-steel lift tubes for durability and longer life.

They are also available in selective sizes with built-in adjustable limit switches.

They are available in 12 or 24V DC, and 110 or 220V AC, with 4, 8, 12, 18 and 24in strokes; and a capacity range of 250 to 1000lb, with speeds ranging from 0.5 to 2.0in/s.

Industrial DC actuators have a ball screw option or an Acme screw option.

Some industrial actuators can be customised to accommodate higher loads and higher speeds.

Miniature units have corrosion-resistant aluminum tubes with zinc alloy housings and built-in end-of-stroke limit switches.

They are available in 12 and 24V DC, with 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10in strokes, and a capacity range of 25 to 110lb, with speeds from 0.61 to 2.0in/s.

All the new clevis-to-clevis actuators have a 25% duty cycle.

Both industrial and miniature DC actuators have IP ratings.
