All members of the MicroStage family are designed with Thomson's proven steel 60 Case LinearRace shafts and ball bushing bearing technology.
The stage provides lower inertia than steel products, with the same performance.
Its patented bearing segment design features a backlash free assembly without sacrificing load capacity or smoothness.
It is the first slide on the market that is Redi-Mount compliant, which permits the mounting of any and all servo/stepping motors, as well as gearheads.
The extremely versatile mounting system allows the customer to change motors in the field with an array of standard stocked kits.
The MicroStage 46 is available in extended stroke lengths up to 1840mm to satisfy a wide variety of applications, eg multi-axis pick and place, insertion and PC board assembly, and wafer transport and handling.
The US-manufactured MicroStage 46 features a T slot design integral to the base for mounting, and installation of fully adjustable limit switch packages.
Corresponding hole patterns in the base and carriage allow for easy x-y mounting configurations.
Additionally, Thomson offers a complete line of hybrid steppers and servo motors complete with drives, controllers and cables.
