Thomson Industries has a range of cleanroom- and vacuum-compliant ballscrews that are assembled, packaged and nitrogen purged inside a laminar flow Class 10 cleanroom environment.

In response to customers whose applications are contaminant sensitive, Thomson Industries has a range of cleanroom- and vacuum-compliant ballscrews that are assembled, packaged and nitrogen purged inside a laminar flow Class 10 cleanroom environment In addition to being nitrogen purged, the assemblies are lubricated, bagged and sealed to eliminate contamination and enhance shelf life

The ball screws, which are ready for installation with little or no preparation, provide direct benefits to the OEM, including improved yields, throughput and uptime.

Thomson Industries can accommodate a wide range of customer requirements that cover both inch and metric sizes, preloaded and nonpreloaded ballnuts, accuracy grades, size and lead combinations, fully machined, and with/without wipers, flanges and end blocks.

Custom cleanroom hollow and telescoping screws can be designed and built.

Stainless-steel and chrome-plated assemblies are also available.
