Guides need little or no lubrication
A new series of ultracompact stainless-steel linear guides is manufactured from 440C stainless steel and requires little or no lubrication.
High precision accuracy is up to +/- 0.1mm.
The first models to be introduced in the family are 5, 7, 9 and 12mm sizes, and have an industry standard envelope and bolt-hole pattern for drop-in replacement of existing guides.
The 15mm MicroGuide is clean-room and vacuum compatible.
The new guides are ideal for "pick and place" of miniature components and devices in: front end semiconductor processing equipment; back end semiconductor packaging and handling equipment; medical diagnostic and imaging equipment; laboratory automation equipment; testing and inspection equipment; and a host of manufacturing environments ranging from pharmaceutical to food processing.
