The M5000 Series meets the requirements of all DC drive applications - from basic single-motor installations to the most demanding multimotor systems.
The unit allows keypad control of each parameter while the digital readout provides online monitoring of drive operations and performance.
Feature-rich, the M5000 Series provides: a smaller, compact design; an integrated power unit including all associated power components with the package; easier programming; more comprehensive displays, easily assimilated function menus and a new control panel; application firmware as standard; enough analogue and digital I/O for the most complex applications; integral firmware for special applications, including several methods of winder control; flexible I/O; and analogue and digital control inputs are user-configurable for greater versatility and flexibility.
Installation of the M5000 is simple with minimal connections and ample wiring space.
Operator's controls can be easily mounted at a remote location for added flexibility.
Additionally, the M5000 offers software options and relevant options for immediate access to serial communications and Fieldbus networks.
The versatility of the M5000 makes it ideal for many drive applications including extruders, rewinds, unwinds, tension control, balancing equipment, wire drawing, tubing manufacture, elevators, mixers, printing presses, corrugators and laminators.
