Danaher Motion is launching a new wide series of MicroGuide miniature linear guides to complement its current offering of standard MicroGuides.

Danaher Motion is launching a new wide series of MicroGuide miniature linear guides to complement its current offering of standard MicroGuides.

The wide series is intended to meet the high accuracy and load capacity requirements demanded by today's applications.

The MicroGuide Wide is typically found in equipment used in front-end semiconductor processing, back-end semiconductor packaging and handling, medical diagnostic and imaging, laboratory automation, and testing and inspection.

"The new MicroGuide Wide Series provides higher moment load capacity making them ideal for single rail and/or carriage applications," states Patrick Rocco, product manager.

"Because of its low profile, the wide series MicroGuide offers high load and moment capacity in applications with tight envelopes".

Each MicroGuide Wide is constructed of 440 stainless steel, requires little or no lubrication and is corrosion resistant.

The unit delivers extremely smooth, quiet operation and high precision accuracy with dimensional tolerances within +/- 0.010mm.

The two-track, gothic arch ball groove geometry makes this product an excellent choice in single rail applications with moment loads.

Engineered to today's industry standard, the MicroGuide Wide is available in one-piece lengths up to one meter eliminating the need for rail joints within that size parameter.

For unlimited stroke capability, the MicroGuide is easily customised for longer lengths with butt joints.

The MicroGuide Wide is available in 7mm, 9mm, 12mm, and 15mm sizes.

Custom lengths and configurations can also be accommodated for specific application needs.
