Leading manufacturing experts are pooling their talents at a one-day Manchester masterclass on Thursday 28th April to help process companies improve their performance "Process makes perfect - a masterclass for the process sector", is being run by The Manufacturing Institute with speakers from companies including Victoria Foods, Unilever, Coca Cola, SRM and Applied Biosystems, who have all implemented proven measures to improve bottom line business performance

Together the speakers will be underpinning the theory behind maximising a process plant's full potential with practical and hands-on sessions focusing on key areas such as maintenance and energy conservation issues, new legislation, and low cost or no cost improvement initiatives.

Peter Sussex, a process improvement practitioner with The Manufacturing Institute, is chairing the masterclass.

He commented: "This is an important opportunity for the North West process sector to pick up first-hand knowledge from the 'best in class' process plants across the region".

""The masterclass is designed to help companies who want to learn more about making the best use of their plant and resources.

Its sessions are aimed at managing directors, operations directors and financial directors, but also health and safety managers and process engineers.

"At the same time, the event will give the delegates the chance to network with other companies within their sector and register for the Manufacturing Institute's series of factory visits to see these top process plants in operation".
