Smart terminal to make Cebit debut
Manufacturer of network-ready smart terminal is to make its Cebit debut at Hannover from 9th to 15th March 2006.
Trident, manufacturer of the Zevo network-ready smart terminal, is to make its Cebit debut at Hannover in 2006 The Zevo is a fully integrated embedded PC terminal comprising a touchscreen display, high-performance SBC and Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LAN and USB interfaces, all housed within the dimensions of a standard LCD monitor

The JAOtech Smart Terminals are supplied as a one-piece unit, with all of the electronics and a touch screen contained in a single case sealed to IP65 at the front and IP54 at the back.
It is available in 38 and 43cm screen sizes with 21cm under development.
Optional features include integrated camera, speakers, barcode scanner, smartcard reader, swipe card reader, VoIP telephone handset and remote control.
The quiet fanless operation, connectivity and performance has led to its integration as a hospital bedside infotainment terminal, as an information terminal on retail floors and as a process management device within factory and warehouse applications.

Trident technical specialists will demonstrate the flexibility of Zevo at Cebit, which takes place in Hannover, Germany, from 9th to 15th March 2006.
