The two day exhibition that runs parallel with the TCT conference attracts the UK's premiere suppliers of time-compression products and services and ensures that any visitor to the show will be able to source the right solution - whatever industry sector they come from - to reduce product development times Whether looking for something specific or working out the pros and cons of implementing holistic rapid product development, TCT 2002 offers a complete source for attendees' needs

At this year's TCT exhibition, Delcam, a leading software supplier, will be showing the latest versions of its Power Solution range of software to help speed all stages of product development.

The Power Solution comprises the PowerShape CAD system, together with the associated drafting and mould design modules, PowerMill for the generation of machining data, CopyCAD for reverse engineering, and PowerInspect for inspection.

All of the software is available as best-in-class point solutions or as an integrated package.

MSC.Software, an established engineering-IT software and services provider will be showcasing a combination of new Software, Systems and Services designed to enable a full product lifecycle management (PLM) environment at TCT 2002.

In addition to the Desktop, Professional, and Enterprise families of MSC.Software's own MSC.visualNastran CAE portfolio, the company will exhibit design and collaborative engineering tools from the Dassault Systemes CATIA-v5 range, including the new integrated MSC.v5i tools.

The company will also be demonstrating SmarTeam and Enovia data management solutions.

Free trial CD's of Catia-v5 will be available and visitors to the MSC.Software stand will have the chance to win Catia-v5 installed and ready-to-go on the latest laptop technology.

Information on a range of accompanying hardware and IT-Infrastructure systems from desktops to network servers and turnkey compute-clusters will also be available.

The CD Adapco Group has announced the release of a new product, Star-Works, which for the first time fully integrates a leading computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code with a no-compromise intuitive CAD front end.

As the name implies, Star-Works combines the best in class features of Star-CD and SolidWorks.

It aims to meet the demand of engineers for a single CAD and CFD solution to speed product development, cut costs and improve product quality.

The new integrated package will be available at TCT 2002 for a full, live demonstration.

The products and services described are just some of the highlights that will be available on-site over the two days in Manchester.

TCT 2002 undoubtedly offers the solution for anyone that is serious about implementing and/or updating rapid product development processes and visiting the show for one or both days will most certainly prove to be worthwhile! Returning to the Manchester International Convention Centre (MICC), Manchester, UK, TCT 2002 will take place 16th-17th October 2002.
