Valves take on high temperatures and pressures
Rated for temperatures to +650C and pressures to ASME 4500, the Raisteam gate valve from Raimondi is available for applications in the chemical, petrochemical, offshore and power industries.
Advanced aftermarket services for valve users
Tyco Valves and Controls now offers customers the benefit of guaranteed performance with an advanced aftermarket service, including dedicated valve repair for power plant installations.
The OptiSeal's rounded and polished disk edge provides the absolute minimum obstruction to flow (up to DN 300), while allowing for full concentric sealing, lower torques and prolonged seat life.
To ensure no process media become trapped within the valve, it is constructed with a crevice-free internal contour, and a relief hole to drain any fluids from the top plate recess space (to DN 300).
The field-replaceable seat fully isolates the valve body from the flow, and incorporates a moulded-in O ring for flange sealing, removing the need for gaskets.

Hygienic and maintenance-friendly flow control
A new range of hygienic butterfly valves has been specially designed for sanitary and aseptic applications in the food, dairy, brewing, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
System simplifies inline sampling
True representative sampling of highly corrosive media is provided without process interruption by the Neotecha Sapro inline sampling system.
The valve body is sealed against leakage to the seat.
The shaft is triple protected; primary stem sealing exceeds the valve's pressure rating preventing any leakage to atmosphere, a secondary shaft seal is fitted, and a dirt scraper eliminates moisture penetration into the shaft.
The OptiSeal is available with a wafer or lugged body, according to ISO5725/5 short (DIN3202, part 3/K1).
Lugged versions are capable of handling all pressure testing applications during installation and commissioning phases.
All OptiSeal valves conform to PED 97/23/EU Module H, and are approved to a range of international standards including CE Marking, FDA, KTW/DVGW, KIWA, DGS, ABS and DNV.
Body locating holes simplify installation and centring between flanges.
The design also includes an integral actuator flange to ISO5211, and top bushing to absorb actuator side thrust loads.
Several options are available to tailor OptiSeal to specific applications: a a certified EPDM seat is offered for drinking water applications, PTFE lined seats and PTFE covered disk stems are available for applications which require high chemical resistance and nontoxic properties, and grease- or silicone-free valves can be specified for special applications involving paint or oxygen systems.
The OptiSeal range is rated to pressures of 16bar for both standard and end-of-line service.
It is suitable for use with temperatures from -40 to + 160C.
Sizes range from 40-900mm, with flange accommodation to PN 16, ANSI 150 and JIS 5K/10K.
