Plastics processor acquires bearings operation

TriStar Plastics Corp has acquired CJ Composite Bearings from Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corp.

TriStar Plastics Corp, a 24-year-old privately held manufacturer and distributor of custom engineered plastic components based in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, has acquired Wayne, New Jersey, based CJ Composite Bearings Division from Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corp.

According to Richard Cedrone, TriStar CEO, the acquisition will form the foundation of a new TriStar division, strengthen the company's offering in the marketplace and better position TriStar for strategic growth and future expansion.

TriStar's new manufacturing division will offer a standard line of CJ composite bearings and engineered custom components to meet customers demanding applications.
