Metra-Batch controls blending and filling

The Titan Metra-Batch plant or panel mounted controller offers batch control and blending and can fill tanks with chemicals, food ingredients, beverages, fuels and solvents.

It offers two-stage batch control and automatic over-run compensation.

The eight-digit batch display can count up or down.

It can display engineering units, the current flow rate, total product consumption and number of batches delivered.

The unit can transmit totaliser and rate of flow data for remote monitoring.

Flow sensors are selectable to suit the application: Titan manufactures turbine flowmeters and positive displacement flowmeters.

The Titan FT2 turbine flowmeters are constructed with a chemically resistant PPS body, using robust sapphire bearings.

Ten flow ranges cover flows from 0.01 - 160 L/min, at up to 15bar and 80C.

The rugged Titan OG Series Oval Gear meters are high accuracy positive displacement flowmeters that can operate in hazardous areas and high pressure and temperature conditions.

OG meters are ideal for hydraulic fluids, lubricating oil, fuels and solvents and are used in engine test applications, blending systems and chemical plants.

Linearities of +/-0.25 per cent and flow ranges of 200:1 are easily achieved with lubricating fluids, over flow ranges from 0.01 to 500 L/min.

The OG Series is suitable for use in hazardous areas, or for applications where high pressures or temperatures are expected.

Body materials available cover all corrosive applications and include stainless steel, aluminium, Hastelloy and PEEK engineering plastic.

In some cases it is possible to fit transparent acrylic lids, to allow a simple visual flow check.
