Total Motion Systems (TMS) are approved UK distributors for the RTA range of stepper motor drives.

Total Motion Systems (TMS) are approved UK distributors for the RTA range of stepper motor drives The range covers motor phase currents from 0.85 Amps/phase up to 14A/phase with motor bus voltages from 24 to 240V dc and the drives are suitable for use with bipolar two phase 1.8 degree stepping motors from size 11 through to size 65

The HGD drive series are available as panel mount drives, either with on board plug and socket connections or with solder type PCB mounting pins.

The SDC series, with plug and socket connections, are claimed to give the added benefit of ministepping, and the similar SAC series operates from AC supplies.

For higher power industrial applications there are the GAC, GMH and GMD series with ratings up to 12A and 180V dc from either ac or dc supplies and the packaged MIND series with up to 12A and 180Vdc.

For even higher stepper motor performance the BCW02 gives 14A at up to 240Vdc.

All drives are said to have protection against short circuits at motor outputs, against under and over voltage and are thermally protected.

In addition to the RTA products, TMS manufacture and distribute a large range of motion control equipment, including stepper and servo motors and drives, motion controllers and mechanical slides and tables.
