Stepper drives handle a wide current
range
The RTA stepper drive range covers motor phase currents from 0.6A/phase up to 14A/phase with motor bus voltages from 24 to 240V DC
The RTA stepper drive range has been enhanced by the new NDC range of units which replaces the previous SDC and HGD series The full RTA range covers motor phase currents from 0.6A/phase up to 14A/phase with motor bus voltages from 24 to 240V DC, and the drives are suitable for use with bipolar two-phase 1.8 degree stepping motors from size 11 through to size 65

Drive to optimise stepper motor performance
The ViX Microstepper is designed to optimise stepper motor performance across the speed range 0 to 50rev/s, and squeezes up to 200W shaft power from an industry standard NEMA34 frame stepper motor.
Digital servo boasts outstanding acceleration
The ViX series digital servo drive is available with power ratings of 250 or 500VA, giving continuous current ratings of 2.5 and 5.0A RMS with a motor bus voltage up to 80V DC.
The NDC series, available with plug and socket connections or screw terminals, has the benefit of ministepping at up to 4000 s/r and has a built in oscillator, useful in simple move applications.
The NDC will operate from a DC power supply in the range of 24 to 75V DC and the two variants offer a wide current range, making them suitable for use with a variety of stepper motors.
The similar SAC series operates from AC supplies.
For higher power industrial applications there are the GAC, GMH and GMD series with ratings up to 12A and 180V dc from either AC or DC supplies and the packaged Mind B/Tseries with up to 12A and 180V DC.
The X-Mind series operates directly from mains AC supply at 110 to 230V without the need for a transformer.
Both the Mind B/T and X-Mind series have recently been expanded to cover a wider current range, while the Mind T incorporates an on-board motion controller.
For even higher stepper motor performance the BCW02 gives 14A at up to 240V DC.
All drives have protection against short circuits at motor outputs, against under and over voltage and are thermally protected.
