Total Motion Systems (TMS) is distributing Sanyo Denki Europe's range of Sanmotion stepper and servo products in the UK and Ireland.
The R series AC Servo systems are available with a rated torque range up to 2.39Nm at 3,000rpm.
Motors are available in three flange sizes, 40, 60 and 80mm2, and offer compact size, low weight, high torque, high speed and low cogging torque, together with IP67 protection rating.
The motors have a maximum speed of 6,000rpm and are available with absolute or incremental encoders.
Failsafe brakes are available as an option.
Servo amplifiers are available in single- or multi-axis configurations, and are designed for easy setup.
An auto-tuning facility is provided, and together with the setup software the user is able to set parameters and view graphical displays of position, velocity and torque, and to perform system analysis.
Up to 15 amplifiers can be monitored simultaneously.
The amplifiers can be switched between torque, position or velocity modes, and an onboard jog function allows testing of the motor and amplifier connection without the need to connect to a host device.
The Sanmotion stepper range covers motors from 28mm2 to 106mm2 (NEMA42), and can give power outputs of up to 1.5kW when paired with an appropriate drive.
Depending on type, motors can be used with unipolar or bipolar drives, and motors are also available with internal stepper drives.
