Two Technologies will hold its Fall 2005 Global GEM Partners Conference on 29th and 30th September at San Francisco's Argonaut Hotel.

Two Technologies will hold its Fall 2005 Global GEM Partners Conference on 29th and 30th September at San Francisco's Argonaut Hotel.

The conference is a benefit of GEM Partnership Services, a programme dedicated to maintaining alliances with the company's preferred customers.

The company, whose Jett line of handheld computers are customised for applications across a broad range of industries, introduced its conference series in May 2005, in Orlando, Florida.

"The response to our May GEM partner conference was outstanding", said Joan Rickards, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

"Our Fall Conference, 'Get on board', continues our commitment to our partners' success by providing vital information to support their business models".

Building on the momentum of the initial event, the September conference offers an expanded two-day format and an innovative agenda that provides partners the opportunity to explore the latest advances in mobile technology, gain insight on new applications, and network with fellow partners.

All current GEM partners are invited to attend the complimentary seminar, which will feature presentations by industry leaders, the latest in mobile technology and applications, and new product information.

Scheduled speaker topics include RFID for the mobile workforce, CE.NET versus Windows Mobile in mobile embedded applications, mobile device management for the mobile workforce, terminal emulation software for mobile computers, and geomatic information systems technology in mobile computing.

In addition to the presentations, a breakout session offering hands-on RFID training for the Jett will be held on 30th September, providing partners the opportunity to train with learning solutions leader, RFID4U.

"We want to respond to our partners' growing interest in RFID, and we're excited to offer RFID training during the conference", said Eric Eckstein, Vice President of Strategic Planning.

"This session presents an ideal opportunity for our partners to receive this training at a discounted price".

The Argonaut Hotel, in historic Fisherman's Wharf, a luxury boutique hotel that combines turn-of-the-century charm with the finest amenities, provides a background of relaxed distinction for the conference events.

The venue's unique character, as well as the conference's agenda, reflects Two Technologies' custom-tailored approach to their partners and conference.

"We want our partners, regardless of their industry, to come away with knowledge they need to expand their businesses", said Rickards.

"We're vested in our partners' success, so our agenda provides information to support their business models and showcase technologies and applications of interest to them".
