Ter-mate is launching a unique and original design for earth bonding The new product, call TeBAR, is based on an in-house moulded insulator which supports twin tinned copper conductors on edge

The conductor arrangement can accommodate clamped take-off connections which can be installed at any point along its length.

This makes the initial installation of take-off connections exceptionally simple as well as any additions required in the future.

Cable connections up to 120mm2 can be installed with confidence in the knowledge that the entire system has been fully load tested and certified.

As well as cable, copper braids and tape can be fitted either directly to the main conductors or on to specially designed load connectors.

IEE Wiring Regulations BS7671:2001, stipulates that all earthing systems must be fitted with a means to disconnect the earthing conductor.

This is exactly what TeBAR offers, but with a significant difference.

The TeBAR disconnect link has a special safety feature by being spring loaded and therefore not capable of being accidentally re-closed.

Simple to install and economically priced, flexible in application and fully tested for safety, TeBAR offers a new approach to earth bonding systems.
