Instead, they simply advise Ter-mate of their requirements, by phone, fax or e-mail, and the finished copper work, ready for fitting, is typically despatched within just one working day.
Designing and producing copper work can be difficult and costly, especially when late changes or tight delivery deadlines means that time is at a premium.
Sourcing the necessary copper is often time-consuming and specialist equipment is needed to bend the copper without introducing cracks that could compromise safety and reliability.
Ter-mate's new service not only solves all of these problems, but also gives users access to the company's wide expertise in busbars and copper fabrication: guidance is always available on achieving application requirements in safest and most cost-effective way.
In addition, the service can optionally be extended to include design, and even fitting the finished copper work in the users own panels.
To back its new bespoke copper service, and to guarantee fast turnaround on orders, Ter-mate carries large stocks of copper in all regularly used sizes.
Bending and other fabrication work is carried out using modern equipment in an ISO9001 assessed environment, ensuring that the highest quality standards are always met.
Complementing its bespoke copper service, Ter-mate also stocks and supplies insulated flexible busbar with ratings from 150 to 1920A.
Available in straight lengths or in assemblies prefabricated to suit the user's exact requirements, this is ideal for use where a rigid copper solution would be difficult or costly to implement, and where insulated copper work is desirable.
