Diamond Mark for modular busbar range
Leading UK developer and supplier of busbar systems, Ter-mate, has won the right to use the coveted ASTA Diamond Mark on all products in its versatile Master Frame modular busbar range.
"I was attracted to Ter-mate because the company has both a solid foundation and excellent prospects for expansion" he said.
"It has unparalleled experience and expertise the key areas of type testing and fault-rated assemblies, and it is flexible enough to respond quickly and effectively to the needs of its customers".
"I believe that by promoting this combination of virtues, I will be able to deliver strong, sustained growth for the company".
One of John Ferriman's first tasks in his new role at Ter-mate is to organise a series of seminars on type testing, to be held at locations throughout the Middle East.
His experience is that this market is currently at least a decade behind Europe in the specification and use of type-tested assemblies, but that there is now a growing awareness of their benefits.
The seminars will emphasise these benefits, while explaining how products and services from Ter-mate can provide a straightforward, convenient and cost-effective route to meeting type-testing requirements.
"This is just the first of a whole series of promotional ideas which I'll shortly be putting into action so specifiers and engineers in the LV sector should keep a very close eye on Ter-mate, because they're not going to have to wait long to see some very interesting and useful developments" Ferriman said.
